About me
I had the idea for LeDueCalabrie, as it is obvious, in Calabria. However, my passion for history, languages, and writing lies furhter back in the past.
Already during my studies in business administration, I worked as a freelancer for the local newspaper, interviewing people from the region on various topics and researching articles. In my master's degree, I chose a focus on politics and history and wrote my thesis on Bavarian regional history. Additionally, I had a study stay in Argentina, which allowed me to learn Spanish fluently.
Fortunately, in my circle of friends, there are also culture and language enthusiasts who are always up for an exchange, museum visits, or language lessons.
What fascinates me about this blog project is the concept of "preserving" and "passing on." It gives me a sense of purpose to get to know history and stories, research them, and preserve them, hopefully making them accessible to everyone in an entertaining way.
Calabria is, for me, a new territory that I quickly fell in love with, and in my opinion, it is worth writing about.
So I would say: Let's go to Calabria!
I'm looking forward to exchanging ideas with you!
